Are you a salaried employee? You may be eligible for overtime pay if the following is true:

  • You do not manage more than two employees;
  • You do not have the authority to hire or fire; and
  • Your job does not require an advanced degree in a field of science or learning (which typically includes professions involving chemistry, biology, accounting, engineering, architecture, law, medicine, theology, and teaching).
